Midweek Message 4/16/14

What is Easter?

We’ve Americanized Easter to be about candy, bunnies and of course food. Easter is supposed to be a celebration of the risen Christ. He died on Good Friday and rose to life 3 days later. Without this resurrection, Jesus would have just been a normal prophet. Since he rose again and continues to live, it makes his crucifixion and ministry worth dedicating our life towards. Listen in as Tim speaks about Easter and a special guest from the UK gives us a testimony about life as a Christian in Nottingham, England.

Midweek Message 4/9/14

Time is a valuable resource. We waste tons of time doing things that don’t matter. How much time do we spend on the most important thing of all? Having a relationship with Christ, and growing it, should be our primary concern. Psalm 90:12 is Moses cry out to God for wisdom about making his days count.

Midweek Message 3/19/14

The Four Soils

Everyday we live out this story in ministry. Not only ministry in a church area, but ministry in your lives elsewhere as well. You may plant a seed in someones life both intentionally or unintentionally. The results will greatly vary. The story Jesus tells in Mark 4:1-20 explains the different outcomes that may happen. According to Jesus, 3 out of 4 times, the seed will fail to grow into something at all. The question to ask yourself is should I keep planting seeds or just give up because the odds are against me? Losing hope and giving up won’t produce anything though. Remind yourself of that before you give up. The 1 out of 4 chance we have is the reason we minister. Jesus encourages us to live for that 25% that will grow out of us planting that seed.

Midweek Message 3/5/14

How do the last six commandments relate? Listen to the message to see how they tell us how to treat others and live our daily lives according to God.
